Book of Noses

Women and noses: they get them done, they hate them if they're not cute uppey noses or well-structured, complementary things. It's an obligation it seems, to get them done if you are in the public eye, no matter what you started with. I want to see a photo book of women with their own, unique noses. I want young girls with unfashionable noses to see this book, and I want to look at it myself. I would volunteer at least the women displayed for this publication, and of course (and for marketing purposes), those famous ladies who haven't gone under the knife. Witness how beautiful a real nose can make a woman.

A Violent Society

Why isn't work done to investigate what common denominators are present in violent people? If this study was conducted, parents and society might know better what to do (or not to do) with their children to prevent any violence in their personalities in the future. And we could be doing something extremely helpful for ourselves and our future with all this knowledge we have.

Or we can keep punishing violence and not attempting to understand it, continuing this sick cycle.

Moderation In Moderation

A good point made by Riah recently: if everything should be in moderation, then shouldn't moderation also be done in moderation? We think so. So don't feel bad about your extremes and sluggish times - you are only practicing a healthy dose of non-moderation, yes? Surely.

I just learned that someone famous also said this.  But neither Riah nor I knew, so here's to our original famous thoughts.

bear box

i think many tourists to places such as Yellowstone National Park would pay a pretty penny for a sort of bear protection shell. I imagine something that is carried like a backpack, and that can be pulled down over the body on all sides if and when threatened by a bear (or other threatening species, including humans, I'm sure). It would of course have to be made of some pretty hearty material, and it might be good to be a full box upon completion, because staking wouldn't probably hold up to a bear's brute strength.

Bears are a threat, my friends. We must do all we can.

About Women

When a woman is unafraid to be herself, men from the Middle East get confused: is she a man or a woman? American men either get angry with her and call her a bitch or fall in love with her. I might suggest that a more appropriate reaction is fear, or awe.

What if the story of Adam and Eve was only a device devised by men to keep women in their "place" and believing that they are cursed, instead of as powerful and able as men?

What if the reason the world is falling apart is because women have bowed out of positions of responsibility in regards to this world, and have allowed men to run free and devalue the feminine?

It is a mark of american immaturity that a strong woman cannot have a conversation with most men without sexual tension coming into it. American men do not want to know a woman - they just want to figure out how they can fuck her.

Women are taught to be timid, and to hide themselves to all except their closest friends and husbands, lest some unknowing man fall in love with her. Marriage has taught women that they must guard themselves from others falling in love with them, and has relegated them to this position of timidity.

Nightclub Ideas

Nightclubs these days are lame. Here are some ideas we have for making them better (please add to this list, y'all):

Silent Dance Party
Everyone has an iPod, and the DJ is giving a podcast that everyone dials into. We all dance with our headphones silently, but to the same tunes. No speaker issues, great fun.

Masquerade
Everyone likes to dress up for a party, and especially for a club. At this club, everyone would have to be in some sort of costume to enter, or would have to rent/buy a costume from the rental/purchase costume room in the club to get in.

Mariah's Playback Dreamclub:
Let's see if I have it right: Mariah has this idea of a club where the walls are full of electronic equipment that could play back any music. There would be slots of time that people could sign up for to play anything they want on this stuff, or off their iPods, or whatever. She'd even have live music be an option.
